For almost eight years, we were simply friends at church. We served side by side, shared conversations after services, laughed over little moments, and supported one another through different seasons of life. There was no pressure and no rushing, just a steady and genuine friendship. Unknown to us, God was quietly writing a story far more beautiful behind the scenes.

After years of friendship, he courageously took a step forward and began to pursue me. It was not sudden or impulsive, it was intentional. What once was friendship slowly unfolded into something deeper, revealing feelings that had been patiently growing through time.
